Ringenberg was a Woman Air Force Service Pilot (WASP) and was featured in "The Greatest Generation" by Tom Brokaw. She recently competed in the "Round-the-World" air race at age 72.

"Celebrating Active Aging" is the theme of the conference, which will include sessions on arthritis, life reflection and tai chi.

The conference runs from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Alumni Center, at the corner of Tillotson and Bethel avenues. Registration costs $10.
