Thomas DeWeese, president of the Ball State Board of Trustees, will introduce the new president, who will make remarks and then be available for questions. The news conference will be streamed live to the Web. Go to www.bsu.edu and click on the announcement link.

The news conference will be at 5 p.m. in the Alumni Center, 2800 W. Bethel Ave. Media attending the event may park in the lot north of the Alumni Center. Satellite trucks may park in the semi-circle near the entrance.

Directions to the Alumni Center: Take I-69 to the Muncie/Ind.332 exit.

Go east on Ind. 332 to Tillotson (the football stadium is on the right)

Go right on Tillotson to Bethel (the first stop light)

Go left on Bethel and the Alumni Center is on your left.
