An after-school tutoring program for students struggling in reading has been implemented by Ball State University's Reading Programs and Services.

This program is designed for second- through seventh-grade students whose reading levels are at least one year below their current grade level. Ball State students will individually tutor each child and help to develop reading skills and positive attitudes toward reading.
The 18 tutoring classes cost $50 while families enrolling two or more children will be charged $30 per child.
