The prize for traveling the farthest to attend President Blaine
Brownell's inauguration goes to Mohammed Wali Ibrahimkhan '75, MS'80.
Mohammed flew 6,940 miles from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to arrive in
Indianapolis just in time to participate in the pre-inaugural dinner in
Muncie.
Since graduating from Ball State, Mohammed has worked for Saudi Airlines and is currently the senior consultant for international agreements regarding catering services. He is also completing doctoral studies at George Washington University.
Mohammed has also participated in Ball State alumni gatherings in Jeddah and London in recent years. He was accompanied on his Muncie trip by Faisal Z.M. Rajahi, a fellow employee of Saudi Airlines and a prospective Ball State student.
