LaManca has a diverse background in pulmonary and critical care as well as cardiovascular research and practice. He is joined by Joshua Dobbs and Tonya DeBoard, who have backgrounds in exercise physiology and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
The Adult Physical Fitness Program helps men and women progress toward optimal physical fitness through a supervised program of regular physical activity. It is designed to meet the needs of beginning or advanced exercisers.
The cost of $235 provides physical fitness evaluation and a state-of-the-art exercise program for members of the Muncie and Ball State communities. Membership renewal is $180 a year.
The program’s fitness center is in Irving Gymnasium Room 109. Participants also have access to Ball State recreation facilities, such as the indoor track at the Field Sports Building and swimming pools in Ball Gymnasium and the Lewellen Aquatic Center.
A variety of exercise hours are available including Saturday mornings during the academic year.
