MUNCIE, Ind. - A local executive will be honored at a business honorary society banquet April 11 at Ball State University.
Kathy Onieal, vice president of investments and branch manager for A.G. Edwards and Sons, will be recognized as the Beta Gamma Sigma chapter honoree. The program begins at 5:45 p.m. in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center.
Onieal also is a member of the executive advisory board for Ball State's College of Business and is the chair of the Ball State Business Forecasting Roundtable.
The banquet also features initiation of 52 Ball State students into the honorary business society, recognition of the 2002-2003 chapter officers and presentation of a chapter scholarship. Doug Naffzinger, a management and marketing professor, will be inducted into the chapter as a faculty member.
Beta Gamma Sigma, the national scholastic honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International, was organized in 1913. The Ball State chapter was formed in 1979 under the leadership of J.B. Black, dean emeritus of the College of Business.
