MUNCIE, Ind. - Community agencies, counseling professionals and volunteers are invited to attend the Hospice Foundation of America's 10th annual bereavement satellite teleconference at 12:30 p.m. April 30 in Ball State University's Alumni Center.
ABC news correspondent Cokie Roberts will serve as moderator, leading the panel discussion on public tragedy and its effects. The free teleconference will focus on specific events such as Hurricane Andrew, the Oklahoma City bombing, the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and the Columbine school shootings.
Panel members include Marline Young, executive director of the National Organization for Victim Assistance, Marcia Lattanzi-Licht, a noted authority on coping with loss, and other specialists.
