Recent and Upcoming Performances of Works by BSU Music Technology Alumni

It’s great to see our graduates developing their careers in music and using their skills and talents to create art on a professional level.

SEAMUS 2008 ConferenceAlumna Stacy Borden recently had her piece 12 Wings accepted for the upcoming 2008 conference for the Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States, to be held at the University of Utah this coming April. Alumnus Jason Bolte also had his composition, ΔΣ (change in the summation), accepted for the conference.

Alumnus Jason Bolte recently had his piece And Death… performed at the Electronic Music Midwest Festival at the Kansas City Kansas Community College. Bolte also had his piece 60secSlam performed as part of the collaborative effort 60x60, which is a collection of sixty pieces by various composers, each sixty seconds in length. Bolte’s piece ΔΣ (change in the summation) was also selected to be performed as part of the New West Electronic Arts & Music Organization series CD Jukebox, which will be performed in multiple national and international locations.

Alumnus Greg Dixon was also included on the 60x60 project performance at the Electronic Music Midwest Festival Festival in Kansas City with his piece, Canon S&H.
