Michael Pounds' composition "Recollection" is included on a CD celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Experimental Music Studios.  Information about the CD and mp3 versions of the music, along with historical information about the Experimental Music Studios, can be found here: http://ems.music.uiuc.edu/history/music-cd/.  The Experimental Music Studios were founded in 1958 by Lejaren Hiller.  Many prominent electronic and computer music composers have worked in the studios over the years, and many University of Illinois graduates are now faculty at other institutions and are very active composers.  Pounds received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Illinois, and worked as a graduate assistant in the studios while studying there.
