She also performs regularly with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, does studio recordings across the state and performs a wide variety of chamber and new music. Kothman is a former member of the Austin Symphony and has performed with the Royal Orchestra, Stockholm, the San Diego Symphony and the Naples Philharmonic. She has served on the faculty of the Interlochen Arts Camp and is the former conductor of the Beginning Strings Orchestra of the Civic Youth Orchestra, San Diego. Ms. Kothman holds a BM and MM in violin performance from the University of Texas at Austin where she studied with Vincent Frittelli. |
