Before coming to Ball State, she taught at the University of Massachusetts - Lowell. Dr. Trawick research focuses on 20th-century music and soon, she hopes, that of the 21st with a special interest in French composers. An article on Messiaen recently appeared in the journal Ex Tempore. Her compositions include works for a variety of solo instruments as well as for chamber and larger ensembles. This fall she provided incidental music for a university production of Children of a Lesser God. In addition to her teaching and composition, she plays the viola in solo, chamber, and orchestral performances. |
