Performance and Career Seminars provide Ball State University music performance students with a weekly session designed to inform them about the practicalities of a career as a professional performer.

Topics include stage deportment, public speaking, acting workshops, effective performance workshops, job searches and applications, job interviews and auditions, people skills, introduction to Alexander Technique, avoiding injuries, dealing with managers, self-promotion, starting your own concert series, making and marketing your own CD, etiquette, and professionalism.
