There are three ways you can access your Ball State
e-mail with a mobile device:
Web Mail – if you are using a
device with a Web browser, you can access Web Mail through Outlook Web
Access with this method. We recommend using the "Web Access Light" version.
Windows Mobile Devices
(PDA or smart phone) – If you have one of these devices, you can access your
mailbox through ActiveSync. For more information on ActiveSync please view
this
Tech Clip. Faculty and staff interested in purchasing a smart phone can
visit the cell phone shopping area
on the Telephone Services Web site.
Blackberry – Ball State has installed special software to allow you to access your inbox, calendar, contacts, and other information through the Blackberry. Learn more about this service.
Outlook Mobile Access (OMA) is a previous method of accessing e-mail through a mobile device, but is no longer supported by the university.
