con?ict resolution. The authors ?nd that Americans
approach disputes with an attitude that one party
is wrong, one is right and the purpose of dispute
resolution to decide who is right. On the other hand,
Koreans approach disputes with an attitude that all
parties are partly wrong and partly right and the
purpose of con?ict resolution is to ?nd non-confrontational
ways to restore harmony in relationships.
A Simulation of the Future Economic Impact of Pension Rate Reductions
The authors estimate the economic impact of future
pension rate declines using a two-period analytical
model to simulate future pension expense. The results
indicate that while the pension expense effect is large
in both periods across small, mid-sized and large
?rms, the large ?rms show the greatest increase in
pension expense.
