Keys Assigned: Keys to open the outside doors, library, labs and student lounges will be issued at orientation. If you lose your keys you must pay to have them replaced.

There must be a volunteer student to bring the bag to the office on Thursday evening or Friday morning (before class). Dirty coats are picked up Friday morning and the cleaned coats from the last week are returned.
Library Books: Sign and date the card found in the back of each book and leave the card in the top tray on the Secretary to the Director's desk. After hours, the card may be slipped under the door. When you are finished with the book return it to the Secretary to the Director.
Lockers: A locker has been assigned to you in the restroom. It is suggested that you put a lock on your lockers.
Mail: Outgoing mail is picked up once a day in the main office, usually around 9:50-10:00 A.M. Stamps may be purchased at the Student Center Post Office and the Gift Shop in Ball Memorial Hospital. If you are mailing something school-related (financial aid forms, scholarship applications, etc.), the Secretary to the Director for the IUSM-Muncie will mail it for you to avoid personal postage charges.
Mailboxes: Each student has a mailbox located in the mailroom just outside of the office. Any financial aid checks or packages that you receive will be kept in the office. There will be a note left for you indicating that you have something that needs to be picked up.
Parking: You will need to get a red parking sticker for your vehicle from security. (You can get it when you get your BMH ID.) It will allow you to park in the lot south of the building. If you will be parking on the BSU campus, you need to register your car with BSU Parking Services. The cost is $60.00 per year. See the Secretary to the Director of IUSM-Muncie if you are interested.

An answering machine is hooked up to this phone in case someone needs to leave a message for you. Emergency calls may be made during working hours to the center administrative office. If you need to place a long distance call you must use a telephone credit card. A SUVON line is available for calls to other campus locations within the state. Instructions on how to use this line are posted near the telephone. You will not be charged for calls placed on this line.
Survival Guide: A Survival Guide for students at the IUSM-Muncie is compiled by former students and distributed at the beginning of their freshman year. Information included in this guide ranges from course information to the best books to get to the best places to study.
