The mission of the Indiana University School of Medicine - Muncie at Ball State University (IUSM-Muncie) is to provide excellent education to first and second-year students within the Indiana University School of Medicine, and to serve the local and national medical community through research and education. To achieve this mission, the faculty of IUSM-Muncie have established specific standards in the following areas, Teaching, Research, and Service during the five year period from 2000 to 2005.
