Shuttle Bus

The Ball State University parking shuttle buses provide free service every 5-10 minutes Monday through Friday, as well as limited service on Sundays for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Shuttles run

  • Every 5 to 10 minutes Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Every 10 to 15 minutes Monday through Thursday 7 p.m. to midnight
  • Sundays from 3 p.m. to midnight for students returning to Scheuman Stadium and the baseball parking lots
  • There is no service to Scheidler Apartments on Sundays.  

Accessibility
Shuttle service for disabled students may be arranged by calling the Transportation Office at (765) 285-9045.

The Red Loop
The Red Loop serves as an express route through the center of campus on McKinley Avenue. The buses run a continuous loop from the south commuter parking lot to the north bus turnaround at the north commuter parking lot.

The Red Loops stops at the following locations:

  • North bus turnaround at the north commuter parking lot
  • LaFollette Complex
  • Shafer Tower
  • Art and Journalism Building
  • Burkhardt Building
  • South bus shelter
  • Ashland Avenue
  • Hargreaves Music Building
  • Shafer Tower
  • LaFollette Field

The Green Loop
The Green Loop serves the campus area from the south commuter parking lot through campus on McKinley Avenue to Anthony Apartments, Scheumann Stadium, Scheidler Apartments, and the baseball stadium parking lot.

The Green Loop stops at the following locations:

  • Scheidler Apartments
  • Baseball stadium parking
  • Anthony Apartments
  • LaFollette Complex
  • Shafer Tower
  • Art and Journalism Building
  • Burkhardt Building
  • South bus shelter
  • Hargreaves Music Building
  • North bus shelter
