Maren Read

Maren Read is the Assistant Archivist for Manuscript Collections of the Archives and Special Collections in the Ball State University Libraries. Prior to coming to Ball State, Maren was a Photo Archivist at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC from 2002-2006. She has a Bachelors degree in German Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Library Science with a concentration in Archives, Records, and Information Management from the University of Maryland – College Park. Maren is active in state, regional, and national professional organizations.

Her work on the Middletown Oral History Project has included training, supervising, and executing the processing, digitization, and transcription of the oral histories.
