Connie Rendfeld is the LSTA Consultant for the Indiana State Library. She, along with the LSTA Coordinator, monitors the federally-funded LSTA grant program for Indiana's libraries. She is also a member of the Indiana Memory digital library development team and involved with the development of ISL's digital resources. Prior to this position, she was Associate Director of Local History Services at the Indiana Historical Society, where she provided professional development assistance to local historical organizations across the state. She was also involved with the Indiana Heritage Research Grant program, a joint effort of the Indiana Humanities Council and the Indiana Historical Society, assisting many local organizations with their first attempt at writing a grant.

Connie is a graduate of the Archival Administration program offered by Case Western Reserve University and holds a Masters in Library Science and American Studies. She is a past president of the Society of Indiana Archivists and past chair of the Field Services Alliance.
