Elizabeth Campbell
During the years that Beth lived in Muncie she worked on a broad array of local and state history, culture, and arts programs including Traditional Arts Indiana's State Fair Masters, County Fair Documentary Projects, and Master-Apprentice Program. She has developed community-based interpretive sign projects for the Cardinal and White River Greenways; museum exhibits for the Indiana State Museum and Minnetrista; and oral history projects across the state. She has worked as a consultant, freelance writer, and non-profit administrator. She has served on the advisory board of Traditional Arts Indiana and on the Muncie Human Rights Commission, and currently serves on the advisory board of the Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Gender in Appalachia.

Beth received her MA in Folklore from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she focused on experimental ethnography, ethnicity, and material culture. She is currently a PhD candidate the Composition and TESOL at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where her studies focus on issues of community literacy, public and professional writing, service learning, and civic engagement.
