More on...Finding Articles

E-Journals
The University Libraries' have access to a number of online journals. The E-journals by Subject page includes architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning. For a complete list see the E-Journals page.
Browsing Current Issues
Current issues of journals and periodicals in the Architecture Library's collection are on display in the library. Users are encouraged to browse through current issues for recent articles. There is often a lag of several weeks to several months before the citations for published articles appear in a database such as the Avery Index.

Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary loan makes available to university students, faculty, and staff copies of articles and books that are not in the University Libraries' collection. If you find a citation to an article in a journal that is not in the University Libraries' collection you may request a copy of the article through the University Libraries' interlibrary loan service. Databases with the Find It @ BSU button can help you fill out an interlibrary loan form with the article information. You may also go directly to Interlibrary Loan and complete a request form.

Periodicals in Storage
Some older volumes of periodicals are housed in the University Libraries storage facility. Ask at the Architecture Library circulation desk to request volumes from storage to be picked up at the Architecture Library.

You may also place a request using the Storage Request Forms online and pick up the volumes at the Periodical/Reserve Counter in Bracken Library on 1 West.
