Current Periodicals in the Architecture Library

  

  • List with links to CardCat for volume and full text information.

Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals

  • The main source for article citations for architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and historic preservation.
  • Use the Find It @ BSU link to find the periodical in CardCat, in one of the other subscription databases available through the University Libraries, or to place an interlibrary loan request.

More Databases

  • BuildingGreen.com – Sustainability and design. Includes online access to articles from Environmental Building News and the GreenSpec directory of building products.
  • MultiSearch:  Art & Architecture – Search several of the University Libraries' art and architecture databases at once. Includes the Avery Index.

  • Business Source Premier – Indexes several Planning titles.

  • CumInCAD – Cumulative index of publications about computer aided architectural design from journals and conferences such as ACADIA, CAADRIA, eCAADe, SiGraDi, CAAD futures, DDSS and others.
  • MADCAD - International Building Code (IBC) for 2009, 2006, 2003, and 2000 plus Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) MasterFormat 2004 and 1995 and codes related to accessibility guidelines.

Interlibrary Loan

  • Use the Find It @ BSU links in article databases to place an interlibrary loan request.
  • Log in to the interlibrary loan system directly to place a request or view the status of requests.

Storage Request Forms

  • CardCat will indicate if a volume is in the location "Storage."
  • Ask at the Architecture Library Circulation desk for a volume to be delivered to the Architecture Library. Next day delivery only.
  • Use the Storage Request Forms for volumes to be delivered to the Periodicals/Reserve/Microforms desk in Bracken Library.  Same day delivery (see schedule on form).
