EPrints - System Implementation Project Page
The EPrints Open Source Institutional Repository program, developed in England and used by over 200 institutions world-wide, has been selected by the Institutional Repository Working Group in the Ball State University Libraries to serve as the host platform for the Cardinal Scholar Institutional Repository system. Out of the box, EPrints includes many of the features the University Libraries would like to provide in an Institutional Repository system.

Draft Informational Documents
Here are a few explanatory remarks about some of the attached documents.
The deposit documents would be linked from the guidelines and FAQ documents and would ideally be represented in the submission process as a click-through statement that the depositor has read and agreed to the outlined terms. Amanda and I question whether batch deposit should be an option. The preservation & format support schedule would be linked from the guidelines and FAQ. I have included a link to a mock up of what a homepage following our recommendations would look like, and executive summaries of recommendations for the home page and the submission pages. We are delivering a .pdf set of screenshots to Brad that contains comments that explain all of our recommendations for the submission pages.
