*recurrence of problem indicated in closed ticket 5939*
the following message appeared on the Printer Release Station this morning: "Windows was unable to save all the date for the file \Reports\VPRS09_SHSL\vpaction.LOG. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.”
nothing will print until this message is gone. have to click the OK button multiple times before it disappears. |

| This comes about from a loss of access to the print server, so the print jobs would be inaccessible, too. Restarting the release station should fix both problems. |
