The University Libraries Mobile Web Site is part of the Mobile Computing Project.
This project was supported during its initial year by the Institute of Museums and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Indiana State Library.
This site is designed with cell phones and handheld computers in mind, with pages viewable from small screens and navigable with cell phone keypads. As a developmental site it does not provide all the content from the regular University Libraries Web site.
We are happy to reveal that this site has inspired at least one other university library (at Cal Poly Ponoma) to develop a mobile Web site of its own.
