The
company has implemented
a number of fire prevention
measures since the map from
1892, including the addition
of a number of ironclad structures, and hydrants, pumps, and hoses.
The most noticeable
change shown is the 4-inch
water pipeline attached to
the hydrants.

former Ball Glass Company is
now identified as the Ball Brothers Glass Manufacturing Company on the 1902 Sanborn map.
