The Ball State University Archives seeks to preserve the administrative, academic, and cultural heritage of the University. To achieve this goal, the Archives solicits, collects, arranges, describes, preserves, and makes accessible papers, memorabilia, audio visual materials, publications, and photographs that document University administrative business as well as enrich the historical understanding of Ball State. The University Archives support the research and teaching goals of Ball State University by making collections available, encouraging use, providing information services and instruction, and promoting information literacy as well as knowledge and understanding of Ball State University history.
