Introduction

The films included in the Digital Media Repository were produced by the United States government during World War II, and can be a good source of information regarding military events, the home front, and wartime propaganda. Oral histories can be defined as the recording, preservation and interpretation of historical information, based on the personal experiences and opinions of the speaker.
