Classic Languages and Classic Culture Majors

In our teaching major in Latin you will take courses to develop your expertise in the Latin language and culture as well as education courses to learn how to teach them, such as educational principles, psychology, and methodology.

Course Requirements, 36 hours

LAT 201 - Intermediate Latin 1.

LAT 202 - Intermediate Latin 2.

LAT 305 - Prose Composition.

CC 105 - Introduction to the Classical World.

CC 301 - Classical Literature in English Translation.

9-12 hours from 300 and 400 level LAT courses

9-12 hours from LAT, GRK, and CC courses
