Modern Languages and Classics
Contact Us for Information
This page is designed to let prospective students and/or their parents learn little about our department and for us to get to know a little about you. We've tried to make this process as simple as possible. Please fill out the comments/questions box below. We look forward to hearing from you.

The Department of Modern Languages and Classics is a part of the College of Sciences and Humanities at Ball State University. Ball State has an enrollment of nearly 19,000 students. In addition to having outstanding graduate programs in many areas, it prides itself on being a premier under-graduate teaching institution. The University is located one hour northeast of Indianapolis in Muncie, Indiana, a community of approximately 78,000 people.

The classes in our Department are small compared to many universities. Because of this low student/faculty ratio, classes in the various languages are very conducive to learning and offer a rich educational experience. Please take the time to browse through our entire Web site to get a fuller under-standing of the opportunities Ball State University, the Department of Modern Languages and Classics, and the study of foreign languages hold for you.

Now, we would like to know a little more about you. Don't worry, we won't send you anything unless you ask for information.
