Classics professor Richard Jackson King will teach a class in the politics of gender at the Indianapolis Museum of Art this fall.  The IMA is hosting an exhibit of 184 objects from the Louvre's Roman art collection, "Roman Art from the Louvre" September 23, 2007-January 6, 2008.  Dr. King's 2006 book, Desiring Rome: Male Subjectivity and Reading Ovid's Fasti, was published by the Ohio University Press.
