French Section - Each year a number of Ball State French students participate in Ball State University's International Student Exchange Program and the Ball State / Nancy Student Exchange Program and spend one or two semesters at a French university.

German Section - Congratulations to Lori Herber who was selected by the German Section as our 2002/2003 participant in the Ball State / Münster Student Exchange Program. Lori, who has majors in both German and Journalism, will study for two semesters at the Westfällische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster.

Each year a number of Ball State German students participate in Ball State University's International Student Exchange Program, the Vienna Center Program, or the Kiis Study Abroad Programs in München and Regensburg and spend one or two semesters at an Austrian or German university.

Japanese Section - Every year a total of five of the Japanese major or monor students have a chance to study at one of the following three sister universities* in Japan from one semester to one academic year as an exchange student under a scholarship:

1. Tokyo Gakugei University (a national university): one student with a full scholarship for one semester or one year.

2. Aichi University of education (a national university in Nagoya): one student with a full scholarship for one year and another student with tuition waver.

3. Sapporo University (a private university in Hokkaido): two students from May to the end of December.

* Sister school means that we also have students from these universities who attend Ball State University every year as exchange students.

Spanish Section - Each year a number of Ball State Spanish students participate in Ball State University's International Student Exchange Program, the Ball State / UNIACC Student Exchange Program, or theKiis Study Abroad Program and spend one or two semesters at Spanish speaking universities in Mexico, Spain, and Chile.
