He earned his BLA at Iowa State, MLA at Illinois, and enjoyed three+ years as a Site Planner for Flad & Associates. He spent three years as Assistant Professor in the LSU School of Landscape Architecture before coming to Ball State in the Fall of 2001. Chris primarily teaches site engineering, computer applications, and site design studio. Among his greatest interests and creative pursuits are site grading & drainage (particularly digital landform design, modeling, and construction documentation), and designing multimedia visualization tools and other effective examples for enhancing/improving teaching and learning.
