She holds Master’s degrees in both Landscape Architecture and Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and she has practiced extensively in both Landscape Architecture and Architecture with award winning firms in California and Washington, DC. Meg’s research and publications focus on process issues and technologies of sustainable site design. She is a frequent Contributing Editor to Landscape Architecture magazine having written twenty articles on sustainable design technologies, and won the Bradford Williams Award in 2003 for her series on green building materials. She is an active member of the US Green Building Council’s LEED Sustainable Sites Technical Advisory Group, and a founding officer of the ASLA Sustainable Design Professional Practice Network. She served on the Editorial Board for Landscape Architectural Graphic Standards and contributed chapters on “Sustainable Site Design” and “Environmental and Health Impacts of Concrete”. She will continue this work on the Editorial Board for the Student Edition. She is currently writing a book called Materials for Sustainable Sites due out in 2008. FALL 2008 Courses:
