The course includes the selection and appropriate application of principles of sustainable/green construction.  Emphasis will be on green building rating systems, specifically the "Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design for New Construction™" (LEED-NC™) version 3, a national certification program by the U.S. Green Building Council.  The course will include product reviews, speakers, field trips and a term project (based on LEED-NC™).  

There are no prerequisites for this course.
