Most of the classes in the technology teacher education program are held in the Applied Technology Building and the Teacher College Building, both located near the center of campus. The buildings are equipped with state-of-the-art teaching technologies, including wired classrooms, computer labs, and teaching labs.

Technology education students have opportunities for classroom experiences at Burris Laboratory School on the Ball State campus and at other local schools. The culmination of the teaching major is student teaching, which students complete during their last semester.
