Requirements for Graduate, Online Students in the Department of Technology

Required

One "software" requirement for these master's degree programs is the current edition of the APA Publications Manual (also know as the APA Style Guide) published by the American Psychological Association. You can purchase the book online at the APA Web site.  

Also required are the following: computer with at least: 512 MB of RAM; 40MB hard disk; DVD drive; soundcard; speaker or headphones; current browsers; Adobe Acrobat Reader; Flash player; MS Word; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint; WebPage creation software (such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Netscape Composer, or Microsoft Expressions Web); RealPlayer; graphics software; color printer.

Recommended

Optional recommended equipment includes: newer and faster computer with additional memory and: large monitor or dual monitor system; webcam; microphone/headphone; flat panel scanner; digital still camera.

Connectivity

A broadband connection is required to take advantage of Breeze Meeting and other elements in some courses. Those with a broadband connection from home have an advantage over those who only use a broadband connection while at work.
