Students majoring in programs in the Department of Technology are encouraged to get involved with student organizations in their major.
Student organizations help you meet other students in your program and provide opportunities to learn more about your major. Clubs often plan field trips, invite special guests from the industry to speak at their meetings, and take part in fund-raising and social events.
Current organizations include:
- Epsilon Pi Tau (Beta Chapter) Professional Honorary: Contact Dr. Richard Seymour or Dr. Ray Shackelford at 285-5642 for more information.
- Graphic Arts Unlimited
- Ball State Technology Education Club (TECA-affiliated chapter)
- Construction Management Student Organization (CMSO)
- Six Sigma Student Organization
- Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)
