BSU - Adobe Agreement
Ball State University has entered into an agreement with Adobe Systems Incorporated for reduced software pricing.  The Contractual Licensing Program, CLP, is a flexible volume licensing program that uses Ball State's projected software purchase requirements over a two year period to establish a single pricing level.

Adobe requires a minimum number of points to qualify for the CLP. Points are accumulated for all new software purchases, upgrades, and software maintenance purchases. Maintenance purchases entitle you to all enhancements, bug fixes, and updates. Under the agreement, clients will have six months to purchase maintenance on legacy products. Legacy products are current-version product updates you own.

Adobe products covered by this agreement include Acrobat, Capture, After Effects, Type Manager, Design Collection, Dimensions, FrameMaker, GoLive, Illustrator, InDesign, LiveMotion, PageMaker, PhotoShop, Premiere, and Streamline. These products are available for both Macs and Windows computers. Special bundles are also available.

The Technology Integration Group (TIG) of Indianapolis is the administrator of the CLP for Ball State University.  Software must be purchased from TIG to qualify for this special pricing.  You may use either your departmental credit card or departmental purchase order if the purchase is under $500.00 and requisitions for orders over $500.00. CLP pricing is available for Ball State owned computers only.   Adobe requires user specific information in order to process CLP purchases.  Each requisition must include the contact name, contact address, phone number, and e-mail address of the person or department using the software.  For more information regarding the Adobe Contractual Licensing Program, contact Connie Callahan at 285-5967 (cccallahan@bsu.edu).
