IPR
announces second holiday book bonanza
To donate items for the Holiday Book Bonanza, go to one of the drop-off sites and look for a marked receptacle. Questions about donating items or about the November 22 sale may be directed to IPR at 800.646.1812 or iprmembers@bsu.edu. If you would like a tax receipt for your donation, please call us and give us your name and address. The Holiday Book Bonanza is open to the public. All proceeds will benefit IPR. Start sorting through your book collection today and then head on over to the nearest drop-off site to make your donation! Then stay tuned to IPR for information about the Holiday Book Bonanza on November 22, 2008. Why should I pledge? You enjoy Indiana Public Radio and the unique programs it offers. IPR opens up your horizons and makes you a more interested and interesting person. Even things you know or care little about become more important to you when presented on public radio. You don't have time to read as much as you'd like, so IPR helps you stay abreast of what's going on in the world. You know that you can't find classical music anywhere else on the dial but on public radio. And think how often your life has been changed by something or someone you've heard on public radio! You rely on IPR to bring you the programs you want and need. Likewise, IPR depends on you for support. More than 80 percent of IPR's program budget comes from member support. If public radio is important to you, please become a member now. Why should I pledge online? Pledging online saves a lot. It saves your time and ours. It saves money and postage. Making a secure pledge online even saves trees! How can I pledge? Pledge right now by clicking here for the secure online pledge form. Or you may choose to use one of the convenient methods listed below.
How can I maximize my pledge? By not receiving a gift, your entire contribution is tax deductible. You can receive a
tax credit for 50 percent of your contribution (up to a maximum credit
of $200 for joint returns and $100 on single returns) by filing a CC-40
form with your Indiana state tax return. How can I get more information about membership? Contact our Membership Services Coordinators, Gail Malaby or Christina Weir, by email, or by calling the station at 765-285-5888 or toll free, 800-646-1812.
