• I sent in my application and documents a week ago.  Have I been admitted yet?

You will receive confirmation by e-mail that your application has been received and details on any outstanding documents required to complete your file. Please note, we receive the vast majority of our applications in December and January. Students who submit their documents at this time may experience a longer wait for confirmation.

When an application and materials are received it takes approximately 5 business days to enter the information into our database.

Once a file is complete it typically takes 3-4 weeks for an admission decision to be made.

Architecture and/or Music students, should anticipate a slightly longer admission process.

• Should I check with the department to see if they have any forms I need to complete?

Yes. Many departments have graduate applications and assistantship applications that must be completed and returned to the department. You should check the colleges/departmental website to see if there is an application that is required in addition to our application.
