Ball State recognizes the value of students attending Council of International Schools (CIS) member secondary & high schools worldwide.  These schools place significant value on developing a passion for international education in its students.  As a higher education member of CIS, dedicated to enhancing our university community, Ball State appreciates the caliber of students who graduate from these high quality secondary schools.

To demonstrate our commitment to our CIS member schools and their students, beginning for students applying for the fall (August) semester 2008, BSU's Rinker Center for International Programs will offer 15 International Partner Awards—equal to the difference between out-of-state and in-state resident tuition fees—to the top students applying for freshman-entry from CIS member high schools.  To see if your school is a CIS-member institution, please visit the CIS site for school searches.

These 15 International Partner Awards per year, equivalent to approximately $11,000 per year of undergraduate study (for up to four years), are available to academically qualified undergraduate applicants recommended by their CIS School College Guidance Counselor.   Counselors would be asked to submit a recommendation letter with the student's application.  Minimum qualifications are a 3.5/4.0 cumulative grade point average as well as demonstrated commitment to either his or her school and/or the local community through service.  The application deadline to be considered for one of these awards is March 15^th for August (fall) semester entry.
