Three Miller College of Business faculty members learned first-hand how two Spanish graduates of Ball State feel about their experiences in Muncie. Professors Doug Naffziger, Ray Montagno and Erdogan Kumcu included a stop in Madrid December 12, 2003 while visiting Spanish counterparts in a federally-funded international project. Welcoming these Ball State faculty members were José Ruperez ‘96MS (computer science) and Ricardo Ipser ’95 (international business). Both stated they made the right choice in selecting Ball State. Ipser particularly values the friendships he made in Muncie and the personal growth learning his own strengths. Ruperez said that meeting his future wife Jennifer (‘96MA) at Ball State was one of the best things that ever happened to him. The faculty members extended invitations to both Ipser and Ruperez to visit the Miller College of Business when they return to Muncie. “I invited them to speak to my global marketing and management MBA course next summer”, said Kumcu.
