DEPENDENTS (H-4)

If the H-1B applicant wishes to bring a spouse and children, then form I-539 and accompanying documents must be submitted along with the application for H-1B status. 

Dependents are not allowed to be employed.  In order to work, they will need to change to another visa status prior to beginning any employment. 

Dependents, if admitted, are allowed to attend classes full-time.
