ENEFL 131 — Writing 2
The focus in the 131 writing class is on the organization and development of coherent and effective paragraph writing. Students are expected to write and rewrite extensively.
ENEFL 141 — Writing 3
The focus in the 141 writing class is on the development of essay writing. In addition, various academic genres are introduced. Students are expected to write and rewrite extensively.
ENEFL 151 — Advanced Writing for Undergraduate Students
The focus in the 151 writing class is on fine-tuning the skills acquired in the 131 and 141 writing classes in preparation for undergraduate English composition course. Topics include writing summaries, responding to literature, essay tests, term papers, and using and acknowledging sources. Students are expected to write and rewrite extensively.
ENEFL 161 — Advanced Writing for Graduate Students
The focus in the 161 writing class is on fine-tuning the skills acquired in the 131 and 141 writing classes in academic writing at the graduate level. Topics include annotated bibliographies, summaries, critiques, syntheses, and research-related writing.
