Teacher's College Resources

EDTEC Digital Media Studio (TC 406)
This studio is the hub of the Educational Technology (EDTEC) academic programs in Teacher College. The studio features high-end Macintosh computers and digital video editing and production equipment. It also features curricular software, multimedia and web development software, and programming tools. Graduate and undergraduate students in the EDTEC program are available in the studio for project support and consulting. The studio is also secondary resource for portfolio and laptop initiatives. Students affiliated with the EDTEC programs (EDTEC, EDLIB, EDCUR, and EDEL) and teacher education majors have priority access to TC 406, but everyone is welcome. iCare Corner

Located in TC115 the iCare Corner is the information directory for help with your Apple computer problems.

TC709 Digital Portfolio Support

TC 709 is a public lab specifically designed for digital portfolio assistance.  In addition to various free workshops, specially trained staff are available to help students with digital portfolio development and web page production.  Individual appointments and additional information can be obtained by emailing Penny Craig (pcraig@bsu.edu).

RB134 Showcase Center
Showcase center has demo units of Apple computers and ipods in addition to scanners and printers. Students can purchase MS Office for OS X for $5.30. Payment can be made with Visa/MC, Cardinal Cash, or personal check.

Mac Pack
Mac Pack is a user group in Muncie for Apple computer users to learn about new things with Apple computers, talk about Apple computers, or learn a new piece of software. Jean Ulman is in charge of the group. The group meets the first Thursday of every month in TC713. Contact Jean at julman@bsu.edu
