36: Configure Mail

One of the programs that comes with Mac OS X is Mail, which allows you to set up and receive emails. Mail has a lot of features that integrate with other applications such as Address Book, iCal, and Safari. Mail has a built-in learning junk mail filter to reduce the amount of spam you receive.

Connect to VPN before beginning the set-up process for Mail.

If you have already opened your mail program before now and are not greeted with the Welcome screen, follow these steps to access the New Account Window.

Select Preferences from the Mail menu.

Click on the "Accounts" button to get the accounts window.

Click on the plus sign to add an account.

If you have already configured your BSU account, please skip to the next section, otherwise continue here to configure your BSU account.
