73: Switching Between Windows and Mac on the Duo Core Machines

To Switch from Mac to Windows

You can only use one operating system or the other. To switch between the two operating systems, restart your machine holding down the option/alt key (the button next to the command/apple key). When your machine restarts, select your choice of operating system and your machine will begin running that system.


Please note, the two systems do not talk to each other easily. The desktop is not the same or shared. To find or use documents created on the Windows side, place the document in the documents folder of the specified user on the Windows side. Then, on the Mac side, select the NO NAME drive mounted on the desktop, find the Documents and Settings folder, then the user, then the desktop or documents folder. You can not see the Mac documents on the windows side unless you move the files into the documents folder on the Windows side, following the path above.
