62: iTunes: Sharing Music

Using this feature in iTunes, you can allow anyone on your Local Network to have access to your music Library. You have the option to password protect the sharing of your music so that only people you want to have access to your music will be able to use this feature.
To share music, open "Preferences" from the iTunes drop down menu.



Select "Sharing"
Then select "Share my Music"



You can choose to share your entire Library or only certain playlists.
To select which music you would like to share, choose "Share selected playlists" and click the checkboxes next to the lists you wish to share.



Note: You can share music with other computers, but you cannot download or save to your library.
