46: Safari vs Internet Explorer

Almost everyone knows that IE is the most common browser around, however, it also has some serious security holes in it, as well as a lack for standard support.

Thankfully Apple created Safari which is a browser based on Web Standards. That isn't all that it has to offer better than IE.

Safari has a pop-up blocker to stop those unwanted pop-up ads. (enable this by going to the Safari Menu-> "Block Pop Ups" or keyboard shortcut Apple+K)

Safari also has tabbed browsing to help with screen clutter. To enable this feature go into the Safari Preferences (Safari Menu->Preferences) and click on the Tabs icon.

These are just a few of the advantages for using Safari over IE.
